As we all know that Google has been using a new favicon for quite sometimes. But on our Firefox search bar, the favicon is still that capital "G". Here is how to make it a new one:- Locate the google.xml file under %Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\searchplugins.
- Open it and locate the line starting with <Image width="16" height="16">.
- Change the value of this tag (data:image/x-icon;...) to the text in this file.
- Save it and restart Firefox.
